The Vitamix Pro 750 has 5 Preset timed programs on the dial

The Bottom Line: Both blenders have a powerful 2.2 HP motor, and are equally capable of blending smoothies to hot soup. The Professional 750 has the advantage with 5 preset timed programs (for Smoothies, Frozen Desserts, Hot Soups, Dips and Speads, and Self Cleaning).
