Vitamix 750 pro Controls

The Vitamix Pro 750 has 5 Preset timed programs on the dial

The Bottom Line: Both blenders have a powerful 2.2 HP motor, and are equally capable of blending smoothies to hot soup. The Professional 750 has the advantage with 5 preset timed programs (for Smoothies, Frozen Desserts, Hot Soups, Dips and Speads, and Self Cleaning). This is a very convenient feature, as you can walk away and the blender will shut down automatically.

The 7500 blender has the advantage of being cheaper in price (by about $70 as of the writing of this article). You cannot go wrong with either model, as these are time tested models, both of which have excellent reviews. Vitamix is the top brand in high end blenders.
