Vitamix (Pro 750 Vs. A3500) Blender Differences: Vitamix presents two powerful blenders; the traditional Professional Series (750) and the newer technology Ascent Series (A3500). Both blenders have the powerful 2.2 horsepower motor, BPA free plastic containers, blending presets, and industry leading warranties. Both models have 5 preset timed blending modes available (including smoothies, frozen drinks). A rotary dial on both blenders allows you to manually select up to 10 speeds for blending.

The main differences between the Vitamix Pro 750 and A3500 are: The main difference is that the A3500 has more advanced technical features. The A3500 Ascent Series is Bluetooth® enabled , allowing you to unlock 17 preset blending modes, and over 600 recipes. You can use this APP on your smartphone or ipad. The professional series 750 does not have this feature. Self detect technology, only on the Ascent A3500 automatically adjusts blending timing and speeds based on which jar is connected to the blender.

The A3500 has incorporated touch controls onto the blender, while the Pro 750 uses only the dial to adjust speed and presets. The touch controls have an icon for each blending mode. The A3500 has a user set time (which turns off when done), the 750 does not have this feature. See the comparison chart below for key differences and similarities of blender features.

The Bottom Line: Both blenders have a powerful 2.2 HP motor, and are equally capable of blending smoothies to hot soup. The Professional 750 is a more traditional blender with more physical controls. The Ascent Series A3500 offers touch controls, with a dedicated icon for each blending mode. The A3500 also has Bluetooth® connectivity to your smarphone or APP to unlock 17 timed presets and 600 recipes. Some of the extra presets include: dry chopping, nut butters, cold skim milk foam, salad dressings, spice grinding, baby food, marinades, and more.

The A3500 has a visible timer to let you know how long you have been blending, or a countdown timer for preset times or preset blending modes. As the prices of both models are nearly identical, we believe the newer Ascent Series A3500 offers a much better value for the money. The A3500 also comes with a longer 10 year warranty Vs. the 7 year warranty on the 750.

Self detect technology: The base of blender is able to detect the size of the container attached and automatically adjust program settings and blending times automatically. This feature is installed only on Ascent Series models such as the A3500.
