Vitamix (Pro 750 Vs. A2500) Blender Differences: Vitamix presents two powerful blenders; the traditional Professional Series (750) and the newer technology Ascent Series (A2500). Both blenders have the powerful 2.2 horsepower motor, BPA free plastic containers, blending presets, and industry leading warranties.

A rotary dial on both blenders allows you to manually select up to 10 speeds for blending.

The main differences between the Vitamix Pro 750 and A2500 are: The main difference is that the A2500 has more advanced technical features. The A2500 Ascent Series is Bluetooth® enabled , allowing you to unlock 17 preset blending modes, and over 600 recipes. You can use this APP on your smartphone or ipad. The professional series 750 does not have this feature. Self detect technology, only on the Ascent A2500 automatically adjusts blending timing and speeds based on which jar is connected to the blender.

Self detect technology: The base of blender is able to detect the size of the container attached and automatically adjust program settings and blending times automatically. This feature is installed only on Ascent Series models such as the A2500.
