Life Fitness (F3 Vs. T3) Track Treadmill Comparison: Life Fitness is a producer of high end gym quality heavier duty treadmills. Both treadmills compared here are the latest models. They both are heavy duty treadmills, the T3 has the edge for runners and taller users, with a wider and longer running belt, and is stable for heavier users. Common to both models are high power motors, Grip & Heart Telemetry. Both models are Bluetooth enabled using the Track console and can hook up to Apps with your phone or tablet.


The main differences between the Life Fitness (F3 Vs. T3) are: The main difference between the two models are that the F3 is a folding model, while the T3 is a fixed non folding model. Fixed models tend to be a tad more stable., but if you need one to fold up, get the F3 model. The other physical differences is that the T3 has a 15% incline grade and 12mph max speed Vs. 12% grade and 10 mph on the F3. Another major difference is the running track; the T3 has a larger 22×60-inch running deck Vs. 20×55 on the F3.

Both have the Track 1.0 Console which gives you 15 built-in programs, heart telemetry & grips, and can connect to APPs using your phone or tablet. These treadmills are also available with the cheaper GO console, but have fewer features. The Life Fitness Treadmills also have high consumer ratings, and you can expect a solid treadmill that won’t move around when you are running. Life Fitness F3 Vs. T3 Console Comparison: Both treadmills use the same Track 1.0 premium console. So almost all features are identical. The only differences are is the T3 has a 15% incline Vs. 12% on the F3. The T3 goes faster at 12mph Vs. 10mph on the F3. Both models have 15 built-in workout programs and are backlit (ideal for dimly lit rooms). Both consoles are Bluetooth® enabled , and a tablet/smartphone holder. For safety, both have an emergency stop button, and cord.

Bottom Line: The F3 model is fold-able, so offers easier storage possibilities. The T3 is non-foldable, so it is a little more stable while running plus it has a longer and wider running deck (22×62-inch Vs. 20×55). Both have a strong 3.0 HP motor, higher user weight (350 lbs.), the Track 1.0 Console with 15 workouts. For Runners and taller users, the T3’s longer and wider running belt may be preferred. The T3 has a slightly higher incline grade (15%) and slightly faster speed (12mph) than the F3. Either model can also use the Go Console which is cheaper but has less features. (You can order this on the Life Fitness website). Life Fitness has a long reputation of heavy duty long lasting treadmills in the Gym. Prices of both models are identical.

SOFT DROP & ROLL AWAY: The F3 is a folding treadmill and has Gas-assisted springs that will gradually lower the treadmill to the floor. The four wheels engage when the treadmill is folded up for easier mobility.
