The main differences between the SOLE F65 Vs.the F85 are: The F85 is heavier duty, and has a 15.6-inch color HD touchscreen built-in with Wifi and Apps (including Netflix and Youtube) and screen mirroring. The F65 has a 9.0-inch traditional monochrome backlit LCD screen. The F85 is superior to the F65 in several ways. The F85 has a heavier duty motor (4.0 HP vs. 3.0HP), more workout programs (22 vs. 9), higher Maximum User weight (400lbs. vs. 325lbs). The F85 is heavier, and more stable. Both models come with an excellent warranty (better than most treadmills). The Sole Treadmills also have high consumer ratings. SOLE F65 Vs. F85 Console Comparison: The 10-inch color HD touchscreen of the F85 is superior to the SOLE’s F65 7.5-inch monochrome screen, and is capable of running fitness Apps, as well as Youtube and Netflix. The SOLE F65 has 10 built-in programs, while the F85 has 18, plus 7 fitness tests. Both consoles are backlit (ideal for dimly lit rooms). Both consoles are Bluetooth® enabled , but the only the SOLE F85 has WiFi capability. The F85 also enables screen mirroring from your phone or tablet. For safety, both have an emergency stop button, and cord. FREE SOLE+ App allows you to access hundreds of FREE fitness classes. The F65 needs a smartphone or iPAD/tablet for the classes, the F85 can use its built in screen or use a phone/tablet.
Bottom Line: The F85 offers a larger 4.0 HP motor, higher user weight, and a 10-inch touchscreen with built-in APPS and Wifi capable. Both treadmills have a running belt that is 22-inches (wider than most treadmills). The F85 has a better warranty than the F65 treadmill. The Sole F65 is substantially cheaper than the F85.
The Sole models have higher consumer ratings and higher max user weight rating than most treadmills. Either treadmill will provide a solid workout for all users, including taller users (wide and long running belt), and is great for runners.
