Highly rated, they both are excellent treadmills for runners and taller users. Common to both models are high power motors, HD touchscreens, built-in speakers & fan, Bluetooth, WiFi, Heart Telemetry, many built-in programs, 22×60″ running Deck, Built-in workout programs, 12 MPH, and 15% powered incline. These treadmills both have 3% decline, which is a rarer feature, simulating downhill running.

iFit & Google Maps allows you run around the world. The warranty on these treadmills for home usage are 10 year frame & motor; parts – 2 years; labor – 1 year.
The main differences between the NordicTrack 2450 and 2950 are: The 2950 model from a structural standpoint has a slightly heavier frame, and slightly stronger 4.25 HP motor. The 2950 has a much larger 22-inch HD Touchscreen vs. the smaller 14-inch screen on the 2450. The 2450 has 50 onboard programs vs. 40 on the 2950. Both models can access iFit though to access thousands of workouts. The 2950 has an extra workout fan (3 total). Other than this, the models have almost identical specifications. The NordicTrack 2450 features a larger 14-inch HD touchscreen with iFit and access to thousands of interactive workouts
NordicTrack 2450 vs. 2950 Console Comparison: The HD touchscreen of the 2950 is 57% larger at 22-inches (the 2450’s touchscreen is 14-inches). The console on both models allows you to view all the iFit features, including Google Maps, Interactive Training, and iFit Coach. Both consoles are backlit (ideal for dimly lit rooms), Curiously the 2450 has 10 more onboard programs (50 vs. 40). The 2450 model has a tablet holder above the console, a feature not on the 2950. The onboard programs will work even if you don’t activate iFit. With iFit enabled, both models can access thousands of more interactive programs. Both consoles are Bluetooth® and Wifi enabled with APP, and have manual controls for incline and speed. For safety, both have an emergency stop button, and cord.
Bottom Line: The NordicTrack Commercial 2950 treadmill is a slightly heavier duty model than the 2450 model, offering a larger 4.25 HP motor, more workout fans, and a much larger 22-inch HD touchscreen. So, the biggest difference between the models is the huge touchscreen on the 2950. The 2450 is cheaper than the 2450 by about $700. The commercial 2450 (NTL17219), and the commercial 2950 (NTL19119) are both higher end heavy duty treadmills designed for home use. The higher power motors on both models will prevent straining, which can burn out lower horsepower motors on cheaper treadmills. Either treadmill will provide a solid workout for all users, including taller users (wide and long running belt), and runners.
For Runners: The NordicTrack 1750, 2450 and 2950 all have four key components for runners. This includes High User Weight Capacity (300 lbs.), a Long and Wide Running Deck (22″x60″), Incline & Decline Grade, and a very Powerful Motor.
