The Q80A has a full array backlight, while the Q70A has an edge lit backlight. Full Array backlights are brighter and provide a more uniform picture, providing a better HDR and viewing experience. The Q80 has better HDR (High Dynamic Range) Quantum HDR 12X vs. Quantum HDR 4X on the Q70. The Q80 has a feature called Q-Symphony, a feature not on the Q70.
