One of Dyson’s most powerful cordless stick vacuums. The seventh generation Dyson V11 “Extra” Drive cordless stick vacuum has more suction power than almost any other lightweight cordless vacuum cleaner available. The Dyson V11 cordless vacuum has a new LCD status screen, that shows how much cleaning time you have, which mode you are in, charging status, and alerts to clogs and other events.

The V11 Extra model has higher suction, longer battery life, and an In-line configuration creating 23% more suction than the V10. This new model has the power of a corded upright yet weighs only 6.68 pounds. It is ideal for quick cleaning on all floor types, upholstery, stairs and inside your car. The Dyson V11 can handle pet hair with extra included tools. Whole Machine HEPA Filtration ( captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns).

The new Motorized Motorbar™ Floor Tool is powered by a direct drive motor, and has two types of brushes for different surfaces and removes 25% more dust from carpets than the previous version. Ultra-fine anti-static carbon fiber brushes can remove fine dust from hard floors, while rotating nylon bristles remove ground-in dirt from carpets, and is easily disassembled for cleaning.

Dyson V11 Extra Cordless: The V11 Extra comes with the Mini Dusting Brush, which can clean your computer keyboard, car interiors, and furniture, as it has very soft bristles. The Dyson V11 has a lightweight detachable long reach wand which can be used for cleaning high places, as well as hard to reach areas.

It is easily removable, converting your Dyson V11 into a handheld vacuum. The Motorized Floor Tool can be attached to the handheld unit for vacuuming either carpets or hard floors (including hardwood floors).

The V11 Extra has a BOOST (MAX) power mode for those tough areas which require maximum suction. For suction only, the low power mode run-time is 60-75 minutes, medium is 40 minutes per charge, and (9 minutes on BOOST). The vacuum has higher capacity lithium ion (nickel manganese cobalt) batteries (charge time: 4.5 hours). The vacuum does not rely on the filter to trap dirt, and has a lifetime washable filter. 14 concentric array cyclones separates out dust and dirt and assures no loss of suction. As with all Dyson vacuums, this unit is bagless, so no bags to buy. This model comes with the new mini soft dusting brush.

Dyson V11 Upgrade Features Vs. the V10 Model: The new Dyson V11 EXTRA has improvements and differences over the previous V10 cordless model. The biggest improvement is the new LCD status screen, which will let you know how much time is left on the battery, and give you other notices and warnings. A small button under the screen will allow you to toggle between settings. When charging, the screen will let you know the status of charging in percent.

The V11 has a new Auto mode which will automatically adjust power for different floor types when using the Motorbar™ floor tool, saving you energy. The improved Motorbar™ Floor Tool is available only on the V11 and other more recent models. The Motorbar™ cleaner head technology uses polycarbonate hair removal vanes to automatically clear the brush bar as you clean.

Bigger Battery & Stronger Motor: The New V11 motor and inline configuration has increased maximum suction power by 23% in Max mode Vs. the V10. The V11 has a higher capacity battery 3600 mAh vs. 2600 mAh (38% higher capacity). The V11 will run longer with a motorized tool than the V10. With the motorized Motorbar™ floor tool attached, the LCD status screen indicated 57 minutes cleaning time on LOW, 25 minutes in Auto, and 13 minutes in BOOST (High). As with the V10 model this vacuum is quieter in the medium and low power settings than competitor vacuums.

Smart-Review Commentary: The Dyson V11 is a seventh generation cordless stick vacuum with many improvements. The biggest change is the new LCD status screen on the back of the vacuum. It will let you change modes, tell you how much time is left on the battery, shows percent charged when charging battery, and alerts you to clogs and dirty filter. The battery capacity has increased from previous versions, allow for stronger suction and longer run-times with motorized tools.

The V11 Cordless comes with a wall mounted docking station, for charging, and convenience. The Hair Screw Tool is great for stairs, upholstery, and car interiors, and for pet hair removal. The V11 cordless vacuum is very versatile for getting different floor types, stairs, upholstery, drapes, and car interiors. Like a full size Dyson, this smaller version has an advanced Two Tier Radial™ Cyclone Technology technology to prevent clogging, and the dust bin empties from the bottom. It has a low reach, so you can easily vacuum under a bed or furniture with the Motorized Floor Tool. This is great for quick cleanups as well.

The Dyson V11 Extra cordless model has already received outstanding consumer reviews. The V11 extra model has enough power to pick up dirt, dust, and especially pet hair and has Whole machine HEPA filtration for cleaner air output (great for those with pets or allergies).

The build quality is excellent and far exceeds competitor vacuums. We tested this model, and found that it did pickup better on our test carpet than previous models, and we really like the new LCD screen.
