This year’s 65-inch H8000 Series TV has a curved screen, for a more immersive experience, giving you a clearer view of the entire image from every angle. This is the fifth generation of 3D LED backlit TVs from Samsung. Samsung’s UN65H8000 65-inch LED backlit HDTV is 3D ready and comes with 4 pairs of active 3D glasses. The H8000 Series includes Micro Dimming Ultimate, an advanced LED backlight technology that uses special edge mounted LEDs to enable the controlled lighting of variable size areas. You will also get Samsung’s best Precision Black Local Dimming which provides for better picture, contrast, and black levels, whether watching 2D or 3D. With this HDTV you can use the included 3D glasses with 3D Blu-ray players, and watch 3D specific programming as they come available on cable and satellite. Included on this TV is 1200 CMR (clear motion rate) along with 240Hz to provide blur free, clear motion. This full HD 1080p HDTV has DLNA CERTIFIED® connectivity lets you remotely access music, video, and photos. The 1080p display has over two million pixel resolution, along with DTS Premium Audio 5.1 sound.

Just plug in an ethernet cable, or use the included Built-in wireless Wifi. Samsung’s SmartView 2.0 allows you to stream and view TV content on your Smartphone or tablet. Dual Screen allows you to watch TV and browse the internet at the same time. This model comes with a Smart Touch Remote, allow voice and touchpad functions.

The UN65H8000 can display lifelike 3D images when viewed with Samsung’s 3D shutter glasses (4 pairs included). The H8000 series can Convert 2D movies, sports and shows to 3D. Smart-Review Commentary: For 2014, The H8000 Series is Samsung’s best Full HD TV for 2014. The UN65H8000 TV has an ultra modern look, and comes with a curved screen, giving you a more immersive viewing experience, and a clearer view of the entire image from every angle. The H8000 Series has Precision Black Local Dimming, a feature we have loved in top Samsung TVs. This Full HD LED 3D TV is fully loaded with the latest features. It has been upgraded to Samsung’s best Quad Core Plus Processor, which will speed up the Smart TV features, and allow multitasking, and new features. Many of the older Smart TVs are just too sluggish, so the quad core processor will remedy that. Its built-in WiFi adapter allows wireless connectivity. The Smart TV content and services have been upgraded, and it has a full internet browser, which can use a wireless keyboard. Smart interaction allows you to give Voice Commands to your TV, or use hand gestures, with the optional skype camera.

The H8000 Series comes with a regular universal remote plus the Smart Touch Remote. which provides a touchpad and microphone for Smart TV operations. SmartView 2.0 allows you to share content with your tablet or smartphone, streaming content to these devices. This is the least expensive TV with Micro-Dimming Pro which will provide whiter whites, and blacker blacks than TVs without local dimming. The Ultra Clear Panel reduces reflections and displays deeper blacks. For 3D Samsung has provided 2 pairs of active 3D glasses, an upgrade to 1200 CMR anti blur technology with 240Hz, and lower power consumption. The UN65H8000 is a substantial upgrade from last year’s F8000 model. Consumer reviews on this TV have been outstanding. We previewed this TV at CES 2014 and it had an outstanding picture, the curved screen adding to the viewing experience. (see video below).
