Schwinn IC3 Vs. Sunny Console Comparison: The Schwinn IC3 has a basic LCD console that will show your workout data while you are cycling. The console has built-in heart telemetry for optional heart rate straps. The Sunny does not have a workout computer and is a basic solid indoor cycling bike.
The Schwinn IC3 console gives you multiple readouts that includes speed, RPM, distance, heart rate, time and calories.
Bottom Line Schwinn IC3 Vs. Sunny SF-B1002: The main difference between the models is that the Schwinn has an LCD console computer and the Sunny Health SF-B1002 does not. The Schwinn IC3 has a higher weight capacity (300 lbs.) Both models have caged pedals, heavy flywheels, with the Sunny weighing in about 13% heavier. Both bikes have seats that move horizontally (Fore/Aft). Both bikes use friction resistance, the Sunny uses leather, and the Schwinn uses wool felt pads. These pads must be replaced from time to time.
In Schwinn’s favor the IC3 has a much longer warranty, and has the LCD console to display some of your key workout metrics, to monitor as you ride.
The Schwinn is about $200 more than the Sunny, so you have to decide if the added features on the Schwinn are worth it.
