The Sunny uses belt drive, while the Schwinn is chain drive. The IC2 has an LCD console to monitor your workout, the Sunny does not. Both models can adjust the seat vertically for best fit, however the IC2 bike can also adjust the seat horizontally (Fore/Aft). The Schwinn IC2 has a Basic LCD Console.
The Schwinn IC2 console gives a single readout of one of the parameters that includes speed, RPM, distance, time and calories.
Bottom Line Schwinn IC2 Vs. Sunny SF-B1002: The main difference between the models is that the Sunny SF-B1002 is a heavier duty bike, that weighs more, has a heavier flywheel for stable ride, has caged pedals, and can handle a heavier rider (up to 275 lbs.). The Sunny bike also allows you to move the seat horizontally (Fore/Aft), while the Schwinn IC2 can only move vertically. The Sunny has adjustable caged pedals. They both use friction resistance, the Sunny uses leather, and the Schwinn uses wool felt pads. These pads must be replaced from time to time.
In Schwinn’s favor the IC3 has a longer warranty, and has a simple LCD console to display some of your workout metrics.
Both bikes come in around $300, so they are similar in price.
