The Octane Fitness xR650 is one of our best recumbent seated elliptical machines in this price range. This commercial grade seated elliptical can be used in your home gym and for fitness enthusiasts of any skill level who want a low impact workout. This machine is tough enough for fitness clubs.
Recumbent ellipticals are ideal for those with disabilities or mobility problems as it is easier to climb into than upright ellipticals. Many are used for rehab or physical therapy. It is a heavy duty machine, capable of handling user weight up to 400 pounds. The Octane xR650 provides an effective cardiovascular workout by combining upper and lower body flexibility and coordination into one impact-free motion and is easier on your joints. Regular use on elliptical trainers will increase heart and lung capacity while improving your health and burning calories.
The Octane Fitness xR650 recumbent elliptical uses 30 levels of Magnetic Brake resistance using an eddy current brake (the best type). Magnetic resistance has the advantage of no friction, reliability, little to no maintenance costs, and quiet operation. A weighted flywheel provides for smoother strides. Static & moving handlebars for a full cross training workout. Power stroke technology provides optimal leg extension, which can burn up to 23% more calories and activates up to 3x more muscles than a recumbent bike.

This is a light commercial grade model, meaning it has the durability to be used in a gym setting, and at home. It can handle up to a 400 lb. user weight. This model is ideal for those with disabilities, as well as physical therapy since it has a low step through to get to the seat, and is easier on the knees than traditional ellipticals. Features an LED console which can display progress and heart rate, and is similar to displays you would see at the Gym. Heart rate is measured by the hand grip sensors. You can also use a Polar™ compatible (coded or non-coded) wireless heart rate transmitter strap with the xR650.
The Octane Fitness xR650 has magnetic brake resistance for smooth, reliable, and quiet operation. Octane Power Stroke Technology: burns more calories, and activates more muscles (including glutes) than recumbent bikes.
