New for 2011. Sharp’s high end, 3D LED backlit line of TVs. Sharp’s LC46LE835U is 3D ready. 3D movies such as Avatar and other movies have created demand for 3D programming for HDTVs for the home. Sharp’s unique Quad Pixel Plus provides smooth transitions between colors and displays a smoother-looking image with a higher perceived level of detail. Sharp’s Quattron LED LCD TVs have four colors in each pixel, adding yellow to the conventional complement of red, green, and blue. With AQUOS® Quattron™ 3D Technology you can use Sharp’s 3D glasses with 3D Blu-ray players or watch 3D specific programming as they are available on cable and satellite. Included on this TV is AquoMotion 240Hz anti-blur technology. 240HZ provides blur free, clear motion, quadrupling the framerate of regular 60hz HDTVs. Dynamic contrast has increased to 8,000,000:1. This full HD 1080p HDTV has a fast 4ms response time to help display fast moving action. DLNA CERTIFIED® connectivity lets you remotely access music, video, and photos. The 1080p display has over two million pixel resolution. The Spacious 3D Sound creates theater-like audio for a true 3D experience. Vyper Drive mode eliminates image lag for game consoles.
Internet ready TV: With Connected TV you will have access to Netflix, CinemaNow, Vudu streaming video and customized Internet content (including Facebook, Pandora, Twitter). Just plug in an ethernet cable, or use the built-in wireless Wifi.

With the 3D capability, you will be ready for the upcoming wave of 3D content. In the near future more 3D programming will be available from cable TV, satellite, and blu-ray discs. This TV will allow you to view this content when programming is available. A 3D TV works by sending infrared signals from the TV to the 3D glasses which then synchronize with the TV to produce the 3D effect.
