New for 2009. Samsung’s 55-inch LED backlit HDTV with local dimming is our best reviewed hdtv for 2009-2010. Samsung’s LED backlight technology reduces energy consumption, improves contrast, while giving you an HDTV only 1.6 inches thin. Included on this TV is 240Hz anti-blur technology. 240HZ provides blur free, clear motion, quadrupling the framerate of regular 60hz HDTVs. Contrast has jumps to 7,000,000:1 dynamic contrast (the highest of any TV we have reviewed). This full HD 1080p HDTV has a super fast 2ms response time to help display fast moving action.
