New for 2011. Samsung’s Mid-Range 46-inch LED backlit HDTV. Samsung’s LED backlight technology reduces energy consumption, improves contrast, while giving you an HDTV only 1.2 inches thin. Included on this TV is 120Hz anti-blur technology. 120HZ provides blur free, clear motion, doubling the framerate of regular 60hz HDTVs. Contrast has jumps to 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast. This full HD 1080p HDTV has DLNA CERTIFIED® connectivity lets you remotely access your PC’s personal media so that you can download music, video, and photos and enjoy them anywhere in the home your TV is (thru Samsung’s AllShare™). Upgraded to four HDMI connections. The 1080p display has over two million pixel resolution, along with an SRS TruSurround XT sound system. The Ultra Clear Panel absorbs ambient light and helps to reduce reflections so there are no distractions. ConnectShare Movie: Connect a thumb drive or digital camera quickly and easily. User-friendly interface allows access to videos, a music playlist and pictures via the remote.

The LED backlighting provides higher contrast and uses up to 40% less electricity than conventionally backlit HDTVs. In addition, without a stand, the TV is only 1.2 inches thick, making it suitable for mounting on the wall. The D6000 Series is a lower cost LED TV from Samsung without the 3D Ready features of Samsung’s high end TVs. It does have features to play music, movies and other media from its USB 2.0 port, and from your computer (AllShare™ DLNA ). It also has Auto Motion Plus 120Hz to reduce motion blur during sports and action movies, and is internet ready with Smart TV featuring Web-Connected Samsung Apps. Contrast has improved to 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast. The Ultra Clear Panel eliminates reflections.
