Samsung’s 40-inch LED backlit HDTV (edge lit) is 3D ready. 3D movies such as Avatar have created demand for 3D programming for HDTVs. With this HDTV you can add 3D Glasses, 3D Blu-ray players, and watch 3D specific programming as they come available on cable and satellite. (3D programming is expected to hit in mid-2010). Included on this TV is 240Hz anti-blur technology. 240HZ provides blur free, clear motion, quadrupling the framerate of regular 60hz HDTVs. 6,000,000:1 Mega Dynamic Contrast This full HD 1080p HDTV has a super fast 2ms response time to help display fast moving action. DLNA CERTIFIED® connectivity lets you remotely access music, video, and photos. The 1080p display has over two million pixel resolution, along with an SRS TruSurround HD sound system.Internet-capable with Internet@TV widgets (broadband service required).

Smart-Review Commentary: For 2010, The UN7000 “C” Series provides a 240hz LED TV, with the addition of 3D capability. In the near future 3D programming will be available from DIRECTV, ESPN 3D, and others. Sony has announced 3D blu-ray disks will be released. With LED backlighting, this TV uses less electricity than Plasma and LCD TVs. Even without 3D this is a quality high contrast LED TV. This TV will allow you to view this content when programming is available. 3D TV works by sending infrared signals to the 3D glasses which then synchronize with the TV to produce the 3D effect. We will post accessories for this TV as as become available, such as 3D blu-ray players, and the 3D glasses. This 40-inch TV is currently the smallest size 3D TV available.
