New for 2010. Samsung’s latest sleek 55-inch 650C Series 1080p LCD HDTV with 120Hz technology. 120HZ provides clear motion and fluid frame transitions. Upgraded features include, a contrast ratio of 150,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (up 50% from last year’s model), More energy efficient (30% less), Enhanced internet connectivity to Netflix, YouTube, BlockBuster, Facebook and more. Other features include DLNA certified connectivity, and Ultra Clear Panel, . The ln55c650 features fast 4ms response time, and four HDMI connections. The 1080p display has over two million pixel resolution, 10 bit processing, along with an SRS TruSurround XT sound system. Touch of color finish.

CCFL-Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp: Provides colors in your picture that were not available before. NTSC analog and ATSC with QAM digital TV tuners built in. 2 Component video inputs, 4 HDMI, USB 2.0 and full connectivity lets you add DVDs, Blu-ray, Camcorders, PCs and a range of other digital devices. Also features two 15 watt stereo speakers. 2 USB ports allow for digital photo/video/MP3 playback on the big screen.

Smart-Review Commentary: For 2010, Samsung has made last year’s top rated 120Hz 650 “b” series model even better with the new 650 “c” series. This model is available in a 52-inch, 46-inch, and 40-inch. We gave high marks to last year’s model for its high consumer ratings, professional ratings, and advanced features. They were best sellers. This years model gets our “Top Pick” rating as did last year’s model. Again we are impressed by very high consumer ratings, excellent professional ratings, and especially the latest features which again surpass last year’s model. Especially notable are the increased contrast ratio, energy savings, and added internet content. The LN55C650 is internet and Netflix ready. Just plug in an ethernet cord, or get the optional wireless Wifi adaptor (available below).
