NEW for 2011. Panasonic’s 3D Ready TC-P65ST30 65-inch 1080p High-Definition Plasma HDTV provides crisp, lifelike details. This is Panasonic’s 2nd generation of 3D Ready TVs. It is a high end Panasonic Plasma TV for either 2D or 3D presentations. 3D is now available on Blu-ray disc, ESPN, Comcast and other programming. The new infinite black pro panel 2 has newly developed fast switching phosphors to provide for minimal afterimages and deep blacks with minimal reflection for bright, vivid images. A new motion compensating technology has made it possible to render faster-moving images with greater sharpness. This TV has increased contrast to a 5,000,000:1 native contrast ratio. 24p playback for watching motion pictures. The 1920 x 1080 pixel count of this plasma TV provides twice the number of pixels as 720p HDTV displays. 1,080 lines of moving-picture resolution. It shares the 16:9 aspect ratio similar to movie theater screens, providing a theater-like experience at home. Panasonic 2011 models feature improved power consumption and meet the new, more stringent Energy Star requirements. Long life 100,000 hour panel.
Included Viera Connect: makes it possible to stream multimedia content from the Internet directly into this HDTV.
