It is lighter in weight and consumes less energy than last year’s model and is Energy Star® compliant. New for 2011 is the inclusion of internet ready functions and content. You can access internet content with one press the button on the remote. The set is also Wifi ready, to be used with your home wireless network (optional Wifi adapter available below). The S30 series is also DLNA compliant, which means you can play media from your PC and other sources on your TV. Its Viera Image Viewer will allow you to view your digital pictures on the big screen, with the built-in SD/SDHC card slot. Reviews for this plasma have been excellent as they were with the S2 series. The S30 series are Panasonic’s lower cost Plasma 1080p TVs (without 3d).
