Eliminates blur on LCD TVs during high action sports and movies. 60Hz = 60 hertz normal TV without anti blur technology 3D Ready TV = A 3D ready TV is a normal HDTV with the addition of a transmitter to communicate with active shutter 3D glasses to achieve a 3D effect. You don’t need 3D glasses when watching normal High Definition (HD) programs. HDMI = HDMI inputs allow you to connect devices to your HDTV such as DVD and Blu-ray players and game consoles. LED HDTV = Instead of a conventional fluorescent backlight, the LED TV uses a series of LEDs to illuminate the TV. LED backlighting dramatically improves picture contrast, colors, and overall picture. They also use about 40% less electricity. ENERGY STAR® = Energy Star is a certification of how efficient an HD Television is for power consumption. Version 4.0 and 4.1 are the highest standards to date. POWER (in watts) = This is the average power consumption of this TV. The higher the watts, the more energy is being consumed by this TV. LED TVs consume less than LCD or Plasma TVs. INTERNET READY TV = This means that the television is capable of accessing internet content through the TV itself. It can access through an HDMI cable or a Wifi wireless connection. (wireless adapter may be sold separately). NETFLIX READY TV = This means that the television is not only internet ready, but can access Netflix streaming content. (Netflix subscription required). |
